You make a lame excuse to Steph about not feeling good. She looks at
you with That Look - she
knows you are full of beans. But, she loves you. She kisses your
forehead and leaves for work. That woman never gets sick and even if
she did she wouldn't take the day off. Sicko!
You call up work to leave message for your co-workers in your most "I'm
sick" sounding voice. That's it. The rest of the day is yours.
So, are you going to be a useless lump or are you going to play at
being Mr. Helpful in hopes of saving face with Steph?
